Jareda offers a full service package to all their clients which means no additional charges for submitting applications or making minor adjustments to plans as requested by the planners or building control.
A feasibility study makes a great starting point for homeowners that are considering extending their property but are unsure what options are available to them, what the planning rules are or whether they require or are likely to get planning.
Costs are another major consideration so it is an excellent idea to get a clear indication of costs for the various options before you make too many plans.
You also need to consider which options are best in relation to getting your money back. In other words, which projects will add the most value to your particular property.
A feasibility study will answer all these questions so that if you do decide to go ahead and extend you will have all the right information to ensure that your project is a huge success
We are also pleased to inform you that if you proceed with a project and instruct the JAREDA Network to prepare the necessary plans, the cost of the feasibility study will be credited against the cost of your plans.
In effect, it is a win win for homeowners so do consider this option as a starting point for your project as it will potentially save you from making costly mistakes and cost you nothing should you proceed.
Loft conversion options include:
Again, if you’re not sure what you want or if you’re property is even suitable for a loft conversion then we recommend that you start by placing an enquiry with us or giving us a call. In almost all cases, we can view the property online and advise as to what might be the best type of conversion for your property.
We do plans for hundreds of garage conversions every year and we would be delighted to hear from you with regard to a part, whole or multiple garage conversion. In most cases a garage conversion does not require planning permission but you will certainly require design and building plans for your project.
We take many calls relating to new build houses. In particular, we get quite a few calls from homeowners wondering if they can build another house on their own property and we are always happy to hear from them and with a view to providing expert advice on their proposal.
If you are currently considering a new build project then get in touch and find out what you need to know or how to get a project up and running.
Submitting a planning application, even though it is for a small simple extension, is not a straightforward task and is best left to a professional to deal with.
In addition to the plans you may also have to provide a Thames Water Plan, a Design and Access Statement and if you get anything wrong the planning application will not be validated which means inevitable delays and resubmission.
We also deal with Pre-applications (advice), Outline Planning Applications, Certificates of Lawful Development and various other applications.
Building plans are an important part of every build project as they are a requirement by local building control should you wish to extend, convert, build or refurbish your property.
Even if your project comes under permitted development, you will still need building plans to ensure that the work is approved and carried out in accordance with the UK building regulations.
We’re more than happy to provide you with a quote for building reg plans for any project.
On many residential build projects there is generally a shortfall of information for all the parties involved. When it comes to tendering, getting quotes for your project, the best way to ensure that everybody is quoting for the exact job is to provide your builder with a Full Specification & Schedule of Works, which is usually accompanied by a decent set of Building Plans.
All Jareda clients have the option of purchasing a full Specification and Schedule of Works for their project.
Any extension that involves work to the party wall or boundaries will require a Party Wall Agreement to be in place before the work gets under way. The work required varies, as do the quotes, so get in touch for a free quote to set up a Party Wall Agreement for your build.
On projects that involve structural works such as the removal of load bearing walls, or the installation of steel beams or goalposts, we’re more than happy to organise a free quote for the engineering calcs. Just post an enquiry or give us a call and tell us what you need.
Jareda offer part or full project management services for any build project. Fees are mostly based on a percentage of the build costs, but a fixed fee can be negotiated.
Other services include drawings for:
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to speak to a designer on modernising or extending your home.
Alternatively, just click the ”GET QUOTES” icon to post an enquiry and we will call you back within a few hours.
